DJ Z-Trip, Lateef Team For New Project

      Super turntable wizard DJ Z-Trip has teamed up with Lateef the Truth Speaker (of Latyrx) for Ahead of the Curve, a mixtape slated to drop in May. Z-Trip has a sneak preview on his website, DJZTRIP, that also features Chali 2na (formerly of Jurassic 5) called “Mass Hysteria”.

      Not much info is given on the rest of the project except to check back in a couple of days for the latest info. In the meantime, Z-Trip will be doing several shows throughout April and May. Here are the dates:

Apr. 12 – San Diego, CA, Stingaree

Apr. 21 – Vail, CO, Club 8150 – Farewell Show

Apr. 22 – Boulder, CO, Fox Theatre
