After a hiatus of solo work, 21 Savage returns with his latest solo album “American Dream.” The 15-track project feels like the perfect balance of 21’s patented hard flows and mainstream collaborations. It’s only right he find a balance with all of the new attention he’s received since his last solo project “i am > i was.” He’s also tapped a handful of notable artists and producers for the album, including Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Doja Cat, and Metro Boomin. 21’s return marks a high-profile start to the year for rap, and let’s hope we continue to receive rap albums as impressive as this.
Meanwhile, Lil Tjay returns with a new single titled “Told Ya.” Lil Tjay has proved through the years that he’s an artist who is here to stay.
