Gunna is off and running again. Prolific feels like the only fitting way to describe how often he drops new music. Having dropped 11 albums since he stepped into the game in 2016, his work rate is dwarfed by few. On his new single “Him All Along,” he croons and glides across upbeat production, flexing the lavish purchases and high-class lifestyle that his hard work has afforded him. If his release cycle is any indication of when a new project is coming, then we should have one in the first quarter of next year. Until then, we can only hope for a string of singles from the College Park native.
Meanwhile, Yeat drops his latest album. Like Gunna, he’s one of very few rappers who drop new music at a prolific rate, keeping fans engaged without sacrificing his high standard of quality. His latest project is a 22-track behemoth that he burdens the load of, only admitting select rappers to step in for guest verses. It’s a great listen front to back.
