Young Thug drops his latest album with some high-profile features. Most notably, Drake, 21 Savage, and Travis Scott both make two appearances. It’s always difficult to tell if an artist’s album would sound the same if they were present to put their fingerprints on it; fans are always skeptical about posthumous and behind-bars releases because the artist likely didn’t get to dictate everything about the album. But, as Thugger knows, “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.”
Meanwhile, Cordae and Juice WRLD team up on the first track from the Lyrical Lemonade album. The two go bar for bar over Dr. Dre’s classic “Role Model” beat, giving it new life and a modern take on one of the most iconic Eminem songs. The video does a great job of deep-faking Juice’s face; you have to give credit to Cole Bennett for always executing epic music videos.
