Kodak Black is on a roll. It feels like he’s establishing an NBA YoungBoy methodology in dropping music: he’s put out so much music this year that it’s hard to keep up. However, unlike NBA Youngboy, he consistently puts up solid numbers across the board; Kodak does not quite have the prolific YouTube presence that YoungBoy has, but he still does solid numbers. Add that to what he does across other DSPs and it’s easy to see why Kodak is one of the hottest rappers out right now.
Juice WRLD’s estate has dropped another single from the late rapper. It’s always a melancholy affair when Juice drops these days: the music is so good and immersive, but each track is another reminder of a talented, yet troubled artist gone too soon.
Finally, Baby Keem adds seven new tracks to his deluxe version of “The Melodic Blue.” Features from Uzi and Don Toliver highlight the new drop, and it’s a great re-up to what was one of the best albums of 2021.
