The second most popular Beast Mode 2 track–according to Spotify.

Despite being self-proclaimed fodder to satiate fans until his 2018 album reached completion, Future’s Beast Mode 2, the successor to his successful 2015 Zaytoven-produced commercial mixtape, has returned favorable streaming numbers thus far–it’s currently sitting at ~70mm Spotify streams. Home to hits like “WIFI LIT” and “CUDDLE MY WRIST”, Beast Mode 2 is a sound addition to Future’s deep musical catalogue, continuing his reign as one of the game’s most sought-after MCs. And when you reach peak popularity like Future has, everyone wants a piece–including Jimmy Fallon.

Yesterday, the Atlanta-bread trap star took his Beast Mode 2 project to the late night stage, gracing Jimmy and the audience with the tape’s second-highest streamed song, “31 DAYS”. It currently is enjoying over 11.5mm Spotify streams. After delivering a tribute to the late Mac Miller (it still feels weird writing that…), “RIP, Mac Miller. Love.”, Future converted the New York stage that’s typically reserved for Fallon’s comedic antics into an exhilarating rap concert.

Drenched in darkness and highlighted by beams of neon purple strobe lights, Future delivered a captivating performance. A dualistically-styled track that marries Zaytoven’s innovative trap production with Hndrxx’s rhythmic yet serrated flow, the “31 DAYS” performance commanded the stage.

As we patiently wait for Future’s next official studio album, it’s nice to have this Beast Mode 2 fodder to hold us over. It’s even nicer seeing one of the project’s most popular cuts receive the Late Night treatment.
