Future is easily one of hip-hop’s most prolific and consistent MCs — both in terms of quantity and quality. Boasting a stellar batting average, Future’s delivered at least one new project per year, dating back to 2010’s 1000 mixtape. And while he has yet to drop off a 2020 body of work, it looks like that will change very soon.
The Atlanta icon recently announced that he’s readying his upcoming eighth studio album, Life Is Good. Reflecting his auspicious position in this world, it seems like Future is taking a moment to depart from his familiar work of melancholy to rejoice in his good fortune. Dating Lori Harvey and being one of music’s most sought after artists certainly has Future feeling good.
XXL’s latest issue features a profile on Future that dives into his revamped outlook on life, directly correlating with the album’s title.
The album title shares the same name as his early 2020 Drake-assisted hit; a remixed version featuring DaBaby and Lil Baby was subsequently released.
