Featuring Benny The Butcher & Dom Kennedy.
This past Friday, we saw releases from an enticing medley of stars: Drake, Lil Baby, YG, Mozzy, and more delivered either projects or singles. With so many drops from perennial artists, it can be easy to forget all the other heat that contributed to this most recent “New Music Friday.” One of those potentially overlooked artists is Hit-Boy, who came through with his new project, The Chauncey Hollis Project.
Released through his HS87 label imprint, the new Hit-Boy offering is a 12-track endeavor that features Benny The Butcher, Dom Kennedy, and more. While he’s probably more regarded for his work behind the booth, The Chauncey Hollis Project allows Hit-Boy to flex his vocal muscle, too.
