Ike Turner Mistakenly Arrested, Released from Jail

      In a strange turn of events, Ike Turner, the ex-husband of Tina Turner, was falsely arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles on a narcotics warrant that was recalled in 1989. A computer glitch caused officers to cuff the 75-year-old music icon after he was pulled over for speeding on a freeway. Last night, Ike was still in custody at a Pasadena, California, courthouse while the paperwork for his release was being prepared.

      Turner, who told TMZ that he spent the night freezing with nothing to eat but a banana and a cookie, has now been released from jail.

      Asked whether he was irked by the false arrest, he said “They could’ve been right…we all make mistakes.”
