Indian Company Says Timbaland Stole Their Song

      An India-based company has sued pop producer Timbaland and rapper The Game for copyright infringement. Saragama India, which seeks an unspecified amount in compensation, claims that Timbaland and co-producer Danjahandz sampled one of their records for Game’s “Put You on the Game.”

       The suit also names Game’s company Aftermath/Interscope, as well as Timbaland’s Virginia Beach Music as defendants.          

      “Put You on the Game” appeared on Game’s 2005 debut The Documentary.
