Janet Jackson Dons Professor Cap

      Since Ms. Jackson had a tough time selling her last two album, it looks like she’ll try the acting thing once again. She will star in the upcoming Tyler Perry flick, “Why Did I Get Married?”, where she’ll play one who molds the mind of the youth.

      "She’s playing a college professor — actually, an author and professor of psychology," Perry told the LA Daily News. "I can’t wait for people to see her like this."

      Jackson will play alongside singer Jill Scott and Sharon Leaf (of “Dreamgirls”). Even though the film will have no singing in it, the soundtrack will be chock-full of contributions from the film’s stars. Look for the movie to hit theatres this fall.
