South Philly writer, Antonne Jones said that the Roc-A-Fella flick, “State Property”, is based on his novel “The Family: A Philadelphia Mob Story.” The writer said he pitched the book’s story to Jay and Dame in 1998 and offered it to the music moguls for a cool $500,000. “State Property” dropped in 2002 making $2.1 million, and even spawned a sequel in 2005. Jones filed a lawsuit on May 8 and is now seeking $15 million.
