Jay-Z will be performing a special late night concert at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this summer. Already announced as a headliner, the people over at Superfly Productions, the company that runs Bonnaroo, announced that after Stevie Wonder performs his headlining set on Saturday night, the Jiggaman will take the stage around 1 AM for what is sure to be one of the biggest parties of the year. This is the first time since Kanye West‘s 2008 meltdown that Bonnaroo have had a Hip Hop act grace the What Stage (that’s the main stage at Bonnaroo) for a special late night performance. Knowing how Jay usually rolls, I’d expect this to be a spectacle with lots of guests from all over the music spectrum, as is Bonnaroo tradition.
