Even though Jennifer Lopez is showing her Puerto Rock pride with her new Spanish-language album, Como Ama una Mujer, she’s still being called a sellout. Ritmo Latino, the nation’s top Latin music chain, is refusing to carry any Jennifer Lopez CDs in any of their 50 stores because they’re saying J.Lo straight up dissed them.

“She has refused personally to promote her new CD in any of our stores,” Ritmo Latino CEO David Massry told the New York Daily News. “We’ve supported her from the beginning. Now we’re told by her record company she will only visit Anglo retail outlets. This is a Spanish-language CD, and if she wants to discriminate against the Latin community, then we will not sell her product. This is not the first time this has happened. Celebrities have this notion that when they reach a certain level of crossover appeal, they forget quickly where they started."

Massry also said that J.Lo is refusing to appear at any Latin-only record stores as well and will not only refuse to sell the new album, but also her entire discography. The rift grew after Lopez made an appearance at an F.Y.E. in the Bronx last week where she signed autographs for fans who bought her album.

Fuck all 3rd world, no english speaking stank ass latinos for real. I feel sorry she has to deal with bullshit like that from her own people. She’s beautiful.
