Joe BuddenThrows Rocks At Jay-Z’s Throne

Joe Budden used to be one of the emcees that everyone anticipated albums from but because of delay after delay on Def Jam Records, his anticipated album, “The Growth” never came out. So he released a series of mixtapes and even made a project called “Album Before the Album.” In a 2006 interview with XXL, Jay-Z said he couldn’t wait to release Budden’s album, but it wasn’t finished.

But now Budden has been dropped from Def Jam, and now a track called “Talk to Me” from his upcoming mixtape, “Mood Music 3”, Budden is taking shots at his Def Jam former boss. Here’s the last verse:

Just think about it. Ghostface got a album out. But he is not getting no airplay at all. All you hear is whoever jay is pushin’. ne-yo(homo) kanye(homo)/There are other Def Jam artist. They have a very big roster. So where is the promotions for these artist. Redman got an album coming out and he did an interview talkin about how jay is not helping them at all.
