After being locked up for about 12-months, despite initially being sentenced to two-years, JT of City Girls is finally a free woman. Commemorating her release, the girls have reunited with their new track, the aptly titled “JT First Day Out.”
Rapping with a palpable fervor, JT ravenously attacks the mic like it’s the sole source of sustenance and she hasn’t eaten in a week. The new release both implicitly and explicitly serves as a reminder to JT’s haters that she might’ve taken a spotlight respite, but now that she’s unshackled, she and Yung Miami are here for one thing: the throne.
JT sounds as focused and determined as ever, intent on continuing her impressive musical ascent alongside her partner-in-crime.
