An invasion of privacy case filed against Dr. Dre by former Detroit officials has ended up in judge’s trash bin. The suit accused Dr. Dre (born André Young) of invading privacy by videotaping a conversation without the knowledge of the officials. In what the Detroit Free Press dubbed a :surprise ruling,” A Wayne county judge dismissed the case in which ex cops and the press secretary for former Mayor Dennis Archer accused Dre of improperly videotaping a backstage conversation at a concert way back in 2000. Judge John A. Murphy ruled that the city workers had no reason to assume the conversation was private.
