It’s been three-years since Kevin Gates’ last official studio album, the hit-encrusted Islah. And while he’s been providing a steady supply of loosies, projects, and features — including the recently-released six-track EP, Only The Generals Gon Understand — fans have been missing Gates in his official studio glory.
It looks like the NOLA rapper intends on righting that wrong, as he’s come forth today to announce his new studio LP’s title, I’m Him.
Album details still remain relatively scarce, but the sheer notion that a new studio Gates album is on the horizon provides satiation. He also recently released two new singles, “Push It” and “Return Of The Mack,” but it’s unclear at this time if they will appear on the album.
