With averages of 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game, not to mention a gold medal this past summer in the Olympics; the who proved that college wasn’t necessary for him can now add the title of MVP to his resume.

Electing to receive the award in Akron, Ohio at his old high school St. Vincent-St. Mary’s, the man who will obviously carry the league into the future still has his sights set on his first championship, and has a great chance of achieving that this year as well.

So did the voters get it right, or did Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade come up on the short end of the stick. Personally, this writer thought that D-Wade was going to take it, but you never know how these things will turn out.

But big props to “King James” though, as he becomes the first Cavalier in history to receive the honor.
