Lil Eazzyy, who was promptly thrust into the limelight after his 2020 hit “Onna Come Up” went viral, returned last Friday with a brand new mixtape. While Kendrick Lamar may have been the focus among casual listeners, it’s hard to ignore Eazzyy, who’s gritty delivery and come-up stories show his determination to make it as Chicago’s next success story.
