After a quiet start to the year, Lil Skies drops his first single of the year with Landon Cube, “Play This At My Funeral.” The “Red Roses” rapper and his longtime collaborator shine over a stripped-down guitar melody, trading off addictive flows. Hopefully they have more tracks like this in the vault, but until then we’ll keep “Play This At My Funeral” on repeat.
