Lil Tjay Samples Iyaz’s “Replay” on His New Single “In My Head”

The prince of New York delivers another stellar single.

On his latest single, “In My Head,” Lil Tjay delivers a somber, melodic masterpiece. Taking back to the late 2000s, Tjay snags a sample from Iyaz’s hit single “Replay.” Given that the track came out in 2009, Tjay wasn’t any older than eight years old when he first heard it. Presumptively, it must hold a place close to his heart – everyone has at least one song that they clearly associate with their childhood.
