If you are anything like me you spent countless hours watching the behind the scenes based show on VH1 called Behind The Music. The show is excellent at over-dramatizing peoples obstacles in life, and glamorizing their triumphs. Well it appears as if some rappers are going to get the Behind The Music treatment.
Lil Wayne will be the first star to be profiled on the series. The show, set to premiere on September 10, will cover Weezy’s tenure as a New Orleans Hot Boy all the way to his current status as the “best rapper alive” (See promo below).
T.I.’s episode will follow his early life as a drug dealer on the streets of Atlanta, to the murder of his close friend Philant Johnson all the way up to his current stint in prison on federal gun charges. It is set to premiere on Thursday, October 8.
On October 13th 50 Cent‘s rise from a near death shooting experience to worldwide superstar will also be documented.
