Earlier this year, Kanye West introduced a supergroup consisting of himself, Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell Williams called C.R.S. (Child Rebel Soldier) on his mixtape “Can’t Tell Me Nothing (The Official Mixtape)”. The song, “Us Placers” was the shining moment on the mixtape and got the hip-hop world talking about the possibility of an album. Lupe said they plan to do one, but it’ll take a minute before it gets into people’s hands.

"Kanye got busy with releasing ‘Graduation,’ and now I’m going to be busy with ‘The Cool,’ and then Pharrell has a new project with [his side project] N.E.R.D.,” Lupe told the Chicago Sun-Times. “But there’s gonna be an album eventually, and watch out when there is! Honestly, I think it’s one of the few good ideas out there in hip hop yet to be done, and it will really draw some attention and have some really great music on it."

Lupe’s album, “The Cool” is set to drop on December 18, with Pharrell’s NERD project dropping sometime next year.
