Mariah Carey Avoids Face-Off with Mary J Blige

       Contrary to public belief, Mariah Carey will not be engaging in a chart battle with Mary J Blige a la 50 Cent vs. Kanye West. In fact, the R&B star has postponed the release of her eagerly awaited new LP to February 2008. The disc was originally scheduled for December 4^th, but will now drop sometime in February.  

      Mariah is not the only R&B diva dropping an album this winter. Mary J Blige’s Growing Pains is billed for November 20^th.  CDs from Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, and Madonna are also set to hit shelves in the coming months.
