Maxo’s back.
Houston’s Maxo Kream started gaining widespread attention with his head-bumping track, “Grannies”, earlier this year. This increased notoriety eventually lead to him collaborating with arguably the most popular guy in the game right now, Lil Uzi Vert, on their song, “Mars”, which dropped in September. Absorbing some of Uzi’s penchant for making hits, Maxo has just released his newest song, “BUSSDOWN”.
The Wilderness-produced track demonstrates that an artist doesn’t need auto-tune or woozy lyrics to shine in today’s climate—Maxo Kream is a rapper’s rapper. On “BUSSDOWN”, his southern twang facilities his rapid-fire flow that pairs well with the funky instrumental.
