The D.C.-based festival’s eighth edition.

The annual Broccoli City Festival is gearing up for its eighth show, slated to arrive in the nation’s capital in early May. Recently, the D.C.-based concert series announced its start-studded lineup, home to a bevy of today’s emerging stars.

Surging upstarts like DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, and Roddy Ricch will be taking the stage for the three-day festival, taking place from May 7-9; other guests include Ari Lennox, IDK, Burna Boy, and more. The concert will take place at RFK Stadium.

A black-owned festival, it’s been imperative to the founders — and partner, Live Nation — to continue proliferating the culture through live music that spotlights the best and brightest in hip-hop. Brandon McEachern and Marcus Allen, the festival’s co-founders, commented, “As a black-owned, millennial-led festival, we take great pride in our ability to create safe and authentic spaces for the black community to gather and celebrate the beauty of our culture … At a time like this, it’s imperative for us to protect these spaces and encourage one another to make their voices heard, which is why our return to Washington, D.C. is so important.”

More information can be found on the company’s website. The exclusive presale is currently available, with tickets at large going on sale Friday, January 24th at 10:00AM EST.
