Nielsen SoundScan reported that Michael Jackson’s Number Ones album will be the highest selling album in the United States, while his Thriller album will round out second place.
The other difference in Jackson’s album sales is in regards to physical versus digital albums.
The week the “King Of Pop” died, 43 percent of his albums sold were physically, as opposed to this past week when 83 percent of albums sold were physical copies.
