Round and round we go…
When you solicit rap beef challenges like Tory Lanez has been throughout 2019, hungry rappers will answer the call. In addition to his currently unfolding beef with Don Q, two more artists have taken the opportunity to make their case for lyrical dominance over Tory: Mysonne and Dream Doll and Mysonne.
While Tory’s original solicitations were targeted at GOAT-level rappers, like J. Cole and Pusha T, it seems like all ambitious artists–big and small–are using this as their chance to take their shots against the Canadian rapper.
Mysonne delivered the Ivan Drago-influenced “If He Dies He Dies”. With complementary cover art of the iconic Muhammad Ali image of him heroically standing over a fallen Sonny Liston, Mysonne’s shot serves as a warning against Lanez, saying that he better be careful to not write checks that his mouth can’t cash.
Additionally, Dream Doll entered her hat into the lyrical sparring ring with her own jab, “On Ya Head”.
