Nas Going Back To Highschool?

Nasir spoke to a group of students in Queens last week and talked about his resentment for not finishing school and getting a high school diploma.

The rapper, who dropped out of school in the 8th grade explained the importance of education and the need to continue educating yourself saying:

“The reality of it is, you need to keep educating yourself, and I wish I had stayed in school.” 

He is now working on obaiting his high school release papers diploma and that it is one of his main goals at this time.

Can’t be mad at him for trying to encourage the kids, but a piece of paper that would pretty much be worthless to him at this point in life, doesn’t seem like it should be a top goal on Nas’ list right now…
