Drake recently elated fans by releasing his amalgamation project, Care Package — a collection on loose singles recorded from 2010-2016. And while all eyes have been on Drizzy since this drop, the 6 God is shifting focus from him to one of his prized OVO artists, PartyNextDoor, who reportedly has new music on the way.
During a concert on Monday (August 5th), Drizzy addressed the crowd with a terse yet informative statement: “PartyNextDoor — new PND on the way!”
One of the industry’s most sought-after songwriters and producers — who’s penned hits like Rihanna’s 6x platinum hit, “Work” — PND has existed more behind the scenes lately, lacing heavy-hitters with his superior and extensive production skills. Now, the 26-year-old artist is ready to reclaim the spotlight by releasing new music.
It’s been three-years since Party’s last studio album, the August ‘16-released PartyNextDoor 3, and two-years since his last project, Seven Days. It’s time for Party’s frontman return, and with Drake’s recent announcement, it looks like that will be coming sooner than later.
