The Essence Festival went down in a big way this past weekend in New Orleans.  The magazine-sponsored festival had alot of big names on it this year including Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, T.I., Monica, Jill Scott and may more.  I went to this in 2007 and if you are a fan of women, especially Black women, attending this should be on your to-do-list.  Check the pics:

Just what the world needed: A terrible remix of an equally terrible song. Wiz Khalifa, who was joined by the great Iggy Azalea on the OG version of "Go Hard or Go Home," is back with a few guests. For the remix of "Go Hard or Go Home" Wiz recruits big names like Trey Songz, French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign, and honestly the end result is a mess.
