Sremmlife 3 is going to be something else.
After teasing it yesterday via his twitter, Rae Sremmurd and Travis Scott have dropped off their collaboration, “Close”, marking the third single off Rae’s forthcoming album, Sremmlife 3.
Spitting in his staple woozy style over a melodic beat, Travis complements the stylings of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi perfectly, making for a texturized song that imparts euphoria. Released on the heels of the other Sremmlife 3 singles, “Powerglide” and “T’d Up”, “Close” confirms what these initial singles suggested: Sremmlife 3 will be engorged with hits.
In addition to the third Rae Sremmurd album, Swae Lee and Jxmmi will also be releasing solo albums, Swaecation and The Jxmtroduction, making for a triad album offering.
