Very little is known about Raekwon’s forthcoming studio album, Shaolin vs Wu-Tang, aside from the fact that RZA will not provide production. Although Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, GZA, and Black Thought are confirmed for guest appearances, details surrounding the release remain slender. A major bombshell was dropped by DJ Absolut today, who revealed via Twitter that he listened to a joint produced by Sean C and LV of the Hitmen production crew featuring Raekwon and Nas. According to Absolut, the song is set to be featured on Shaolin vs Wu-Tang. The last time Rae and Nas collaborated was on “Verbal Intercourse” off 1995’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. In addition, Absolut released a picture of Deric D-Dot Angeletti in the studio with Raekwon over Twitter. We’ll have more details on the album as it becomes available.
