Royce Da 5′ 9″ Talks “Hi Rihanna”

PRhyme, the duo of DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″, found some unexpected success late last year when they dropped their self-titled debut album. Now they're back with and updated version of the project, which features new cuts. Here they link up with The Roots' Black Thought for "Wishin' II," a track that initially featured Common. Well shoot, Ras Kass ain't playin'. The legendary West Coast emcee is set to drop his provokingly titled Lyrical Hip Hop Is Dead EP on January 16th, and he's sharing its first offering in the Royce da 5'9" featured cut titled "Attitudes." In addition to having Royce on board already, the project will also feature guest appearances from Guilty Simpson, Rampage the Last Boyscout, his son Ras Austin & more. Statik Selektah is calling it quits -- sadly. He's a great producer and a bonafide rap fan with terrific taste. But his upcoming Lucky 7 project will be his last -- again, sadly. Rihanna is the source of inspiration for the latest Yo Gotti joint. Gotti, who shall be dropping his new album The Art of Hustle soon, is sharing his latest track -- simply entitled "Rihanna" -- featuring Atlanta's premiere rapper, Young Thug. Listen to the new Gotti joint after the jump.
