The DIY pioneer and recently RIAA-certified Gold member, Russ, hasn’t let success inhibit his work ethic; it is what has catapulted him to this point after all—and talent, of course. Recently, he released a slew of singles produced by Hip Hop stalwart Scott Storch, after a fiery guest appearance on Complex’s Everyday Struggle. Today, he’s back with a visual for his song, “Ride Slow”.
Off of said Gold-certified album, There’s Really a Wolf, “Ride Slow” is, as one would imagine, a laid back track that features Russ in a trap soul setting discussing a breakup that has left him empty, unfulfilled. Fittingly, the visual captures this chill aesthetic by featuring Russ driving on a rainy night with said girl fading in and out of reality, literally and figuratively.
