Sanaa Lathan is ‘Soft & Beautiful’

      We’ve enjoyed her in such flicks as ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Love & Basketball’ and ‘The Best Man’, now the rest of world is enjoying Sanaa Lathan too. The actress was named Miss Soft & Beautiful 2007 over Beyonce, Tyra Banks and Queen Latifah in recent poll held by Sister 2 Sister Magazine.

      "I’m so honored to be named Miss Soft and Beautiful 2007," Lathan said. "It is such a delight to be recognized by the women in my community. A huge part of my life intention is to uplift women. This means so much. Thank you."

      With this recognition, ‘Soft & Beautiful’ will donate its products, along with a cash donation to The HerShe Group, a charity chosen by Lathan. The HerShe Group is a non-profit organization that empowers girls emancipating from foster care to successfully transition into adulthood.
