Flatbush’s Sleepy Hallow is firmly one of the artists moving the needle on New York hip-hop. Part of this Brooklyn Drill renaissance, Sleepy has set himself apart from the increasingly-crowded NY scene thanks to his vocal versatility, melodic excellence, and lyrical inclination, which was on full-display on his recent mixtape, Sleepy Hallow Presents: Sleepy For President.
A 12-track project, Sleepy linked several times with his frequent collaborator and fellow burgeoning Brooklyn rapper, Sheff G, including the vibey “Water.” Recently, the two re-linked for the track’s official music video — a Worldstar exclusive.
