In 2018’s short existence, Smokepurpp already has his foot on the game’s throat. Accompanying in his pursuit of rap’s thrown is in-demand producer, Murda Beatz, who provided the production for Purpp’s “123”. Now, the two are back with “Do Not Disturb”, featuring QC members, Lil Yachty and Offset.
Piggybacking off his winning formula, “Do Not Disturb” is an ominous blending of harrowing sounds to formulate a gritty aesthetic doused in swag while preaching caution. Telling everyone to essentially leave him alone, “Do Not Disturb” is a warning to those intent on blowing up his phone–heed his “gentle” advisory and leave the man alone. Rounding out the track, Yachty and Offset mirror the song’s rugged vibe by injecting their easily recognizable sonics.
