With hardly a rap album going platinum nowadays, rappers are now looking for different ways to get paid. Whether it’s a clothing line or acting they need to find a way to stay paid. So in that vein, Snoop has signed on with E! Entertainment Television to star in his own reality show.

Scheduled to begin airing near the end of the year, the show will focus on Snoop’s two lives: being a rap star and being a father and husband. From going on tour and living the rap life to being home with his family and coaching his son’s football team, the cameras will catch it all.

"The juggling act that Snoop faces day-in, day-out between career and family is certain to resonate with our viewers," Ted Harbert, president and CEO of Comcast Entertainment Group, which operates the E! channel, told the Associated Press.

There’s no word if Snoop’s legal issues would be included in the show. The rapper is currently on probation for five years and owes 800 hours of community service after he pleaded no contest to felony gun and drug charges. The charges followed his arrest last year at an airport in Burbank for investigation of transporting marijuana. Police later found a gun at his home.
