With Smoke DZA and Pete Rock's collabo album on the horizon, the New York duo is showing no signs of slowing down. Today, the Don't Smoke Rock collective premiered a soulful track entitled "Milestone" featuring Jadakiss, Styles P and BJ the Chicago Kid via Complex.
A few months back BJ the Chicago Kid linked up with Brooklyn's venerable young emcee Joey Bada$$ and comedian Hannibal Buress -- who takes issue with pickle juice -- for the Heavy D interpolated track "Nothin' But Love". Now the two rappers are lacing the track with a smooth visual treatment sans Buress. The video for "Nothin' But Love," which finds the two rappers rapping on Bada$$' home turf, is set to appear on BJ's forthcoming In My Mind album. Check it out after the jump.
BJ the Chicago Kid is sharing the visuals for the single ("That Girl") from his forthcoming album, In My Mind. For "That Girl," BJ recruits Atlantan OG Maco. And in the video, both BJ and Maco appear over a flux of lyrics. Check it out after the jump and be on the lookout for BJ's new album In My Mind, dropping soon.
In case you haven't heard Fashawn is back. After dropping his FASH-ionably Late mixtape (with The Alchemist) last year Fashawn returns in 2015 with The Ecology (which drops February 24th.) Fashawn has already shared "Guess Who's Back," "Out the Trunk," and the Nas/Aloe Blacc featured "Something to Believe In." And now Fashawn, being the gentleman that he is, is sharing the entire project for free. That's right, an album stream of all fourteen tracks. In addition to Nas and Aloe Blacc, The Ecology features BJ the Chicago Kid and Choosey. Stream Fashawn's The Ecology after the jump.
BJ the Chicago Kid and ScHoolboy Q struck gold with their collaborative track "Studio" earlier in the year (off of Schoolboy's excellent Oxymoron album) so the duo returns for some more with "It's True." In the visuals for the track Schoolboy joins BJ in his hometown of Chicago. Peep the video for "It's True" after the jump.
