Rich Homie Quan's name recently appeared on Young Thug's Halloween-themed Slime Season 2 mixtape--something many weren't expecting after their dissolution. This seemingly small bit of information is actually crucial to the story of Quan and Thug because these two once sparring partners haven't collaborated on a new track since their Rich Gang days. And although the track in question ("Never Made Love") is an oldie, as well--recorded during those pivotal RG days--its appearance on Young Thug's latest mixtape could hint at future collaborations between the two Atlanta rappers. However, Quan does have a new solo track with "Carlito", a track that's produced by Goose (also one of Thug's main collaborators), and it's a solid number overall that potentially hints at what his forthcoming debut album may sound like. Hit the play button on Rich Homie Quan's "Carlito" after the jump.
Back in August, Fabolous released a loosie track -- entitled ''Gone for the Winter'' -- and he's kept quiet since. Fittingly, just as the temperature's rising, Fab is back with the heat the fans desperately needed. Teaming up with Atlanta's Rich Homie Quan, Fabolous goes full Dead Presidents in the visuals for ''We Good'' -- a track that first appeared on his Young OG Project last year. Additionally, the grim visuals (featuring face paint and shootouts) are apt for Halloween, which is tomorrow! Fab has also teased at the notion of dropping a new project, Summertime Shootout, but we've yet to hear anything from that. In the meantime, check out Fabolous' ''We Good'' video featuring Rich Homie Quan after the jump.
Gucci Mane's got a movie coming out. No, that's not a typo -- yes, a movie. It's called The Spot, which of course will be dropping on October 17th (1017, you poser.) And there's also a soundtrack because let's not forget: Gucci is a musically-inclined individual. The soundtrack will most likely be released in conjunction with The Spot's release but we're being treated to an early leak with "No Problems," featuring fellow ATL stalwarts Rich Homie Quan and Peewee Longway. Yes, there is indeed a verse from Guwop himself. Listen to "No Problems" from the incarcerated Gucci Mane after the jump.
Rich Homie Quan returns with "Bankroll," after sharing "Break Table" a few days ago. Both cuts appear to be loosies and don't have a home. And maybe Quan should keep it that way -- he hasn't had a solid project since his collaboration with Young Thug and Birdman on Rich Gang: Tha Tour, Pt. 1 last year. Peep Quan's "Bankroll" after the jump.
Looks like Rich Homie Quan is making good on his promise to drop new music after departing from Rich Gang. And according to the project's title RHQ also promises to always go in. RHQ will be dropping If You Ever Think I Will Stop Going In, Ask Double R this Tuesday (April 28) and is sharing "Family" from the forthcoming project. Listen to "Family" after the jump.
With Rich Homie Quan now officially solo (as he stepped away from Rich Gang) he is prepping the release of his debut full length. Crazy to think RHQ still hasn't had a solo album, especially since his smash hit "Type of Way" first made waves in the summer of 2013. Either way, RHQ is determined to drop something this year. Here, he teams up with his frequent produced Will-a-Fool for "You Not." Check it after the jump!
Rich Homie Quan recently announced that he is officially splitting from Rich Gang (Young Thug and Birdman, being the other two members at the moment) to focus on his own brand. Quan didn't exactly reveal any juicy details as to why, given his rapport with fellow Atlantan (and self-proclaimed "brother") Young Thug. Could this be Rich Homie Quan's answer to the recent, highly publicized squabble between Lil Wayne and Birdman? Who knows. There is no real, definitive answer as Quan has wisely kept his lips sealed on the matter. However, it's worth noting that as soon as word got out about Quan's departure a song entitled "My Homie" surfaced online. The song, as the internet collectively has noted is ironic, with both Quan and Thugger being on the track together. But we doubt there's any beef, so to speak, between Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug, and we can probably expect more collaborations between the two. Anyway, enough gossip, check out "My Homie" after the jump.
