Statik Selektah is calling it quits -- sadly. He's a great producer and a bonafide rap fan with terrific taste. But his upcoming Lucky 7 project will be his last -- again, sadly. And so far Statik has shared a handful of tracks from the project, including “Beautiful Life” featuring Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$, “Top Tier” featuring Sean Price, Bun B and Styles P, and “All You Need,” featuring Bronson, Ab-Soul & Elle Varner. Now Statik is sharing "Crystal Clear" featuring the Detroit OG and one-half of Bad Meets Evil, Royce Da 5'9". Check it out after the jump!

July 7th Statik Selektah will be dropping his highly-anticipated Lucky 7 project, which is also supposedly his last project ever. But, we'll see about that. So far he's dropped “Beautiful Life” featuring Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$, then he shared “Top Tier” featuring Sean Price, Bun B and Styles P, and now he's giving ya'll that new heat, "All You Need," featuring Bronson, Ab-Soul & Elle Varner. Statik Selektah's Lucky 7 will be out July 7th and the master producer is recruiting New Yorkers Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$ for an exclusive new track, "Beautiful Life." Needless to say, Lucky 7's track listing is pretty insane (see it after the jump) and "Beautiful Life" is only one of the standouts. Despite residing from essentially the same place (Coney Island, Brooklyn) and sharing virtually the same exact cultural background (Ukrainian-American) I never really messed with rising rapper Your Old Droog all that much. I mean, in the interest of full disclosure and not frontin', I think dude is super talented and a great altogether MC but frankly I'm not "feeling" it, you know? I always find the beats to be dated and seriously lackluster and I can never quite relate to Your Old Droog. Like, who is Droog? But this track right here, with its super kitschy and ultra NYC-indebted song title, is right up my alley, fam. Droog delivers the goods with "Unlimited MetroCard" which is produced by the always reliable Statik Selektah. Joey Bada$$' debut full length studio album B4.DA.$$ is officially out now and to celebrate the release (as well as his birthday) he is dropping a freebie with "Born Day (AquariUS)." The track finds Joey going off, sounding jubilant and uplifted. Produced by frequent collaborator Statik Selektah "Born Day (AquariUS)" will not be on B4.DA.$$ but it is certainly worthy of a listen.
