Lil Wayne preps the release of his forthcoming Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape amidst the battle over the release of his (currently) pending Tha Carter V album. And to tease the forthcoming Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape he is sharing a freestyle over Future's Mike WiLL Made It-produced "Sh!t" instrumental. Listen after the jump.

During last night's 2014 American Music Awards Lil Wayne was joined by Christina Milian for a live rendition of his new song "Start a Fire." And it didn't take long before the audio made its way onto the internet. "Start a Fire" will appear on Lil Wayne's forthcoming Tha Carter V, which is due out Dec. 9th. Lil Wayne unleashes a new track entitled "Offday" as hip-hop heads patiently await the release of Tha Carter V (coming December 9th) featuring Young Money's new signee Flow. No word as to whether or not the track will appear on the forthcoming album. Listen after the jump.

Lil Wayne's fervent fans were hugely distraught when it was announced his forthcoming Tha Carter V album will be pushed back indefinitely but that isn't something Weezy from dropping new tunes for everyone waiting with baited breath.
