It's an amazing weekend for emcees who happen to be female. Snow Tha Product joins the party with her new joint, produced by Happy Perez. It's trap bounce with some brash lyrics. Her double-time flow fits well on this instrumental. Check the track after the jump.
Tracks
New Music: BeyoncĂ© – “Flawless” Remix Feat. Nicki Minaj
Maybe the two most important women in hip hop and R&B on a track, one being the Queen. The universe opened up for this remix. Yonce also talks her sh*t about the elevator incident. Thank a higher power and listen after the jump.
New Music: Bobby Capri – “Make Moves” Feat. Freddie Gibbs
Bobby Capri hits us with this follow up song from his Instant Gratification project. It's the kind of light-hearted, pitter patter flow that gives Gibbs a great canvas. It turns the uphill climb of rap careers into an understandable work-a-day plot. Check the ambition track after the jump.
New Music: Kevin Gates & Starlito – “Sh*t” Freestyle
Listen to Kevin Gates and Starlito remake the MikeWillMadeIt track "Sh*t." You cannot be soft around these guys. They smell it and use it to make songs that disintegrate your weakness in front of your enemy. Track after the jump.
New Music: Hitta J3 – “Do Yo Gudda” Feat. Problem, Kendrick Lamar & YG
Power-packed remix that makes original artist seem a bit smaller than his song. I guess no one is hurt by that and it brings attention to the craze. So, do yo gudda. Track after the jump.
New Music: Raekwon – “Flawless”
From Rae's Throwback Thursday series is this gem remix of a Luther jam. His TBT tribute are like the best cross between the music your auntie played at the barbecue and the tunes you snuck off to listen to with your cousin in the den. It's kind of criminal how good he is at rhyming, even over these smoothed out retro R&B tracks. Listen after the jump.
New Music: Bodega Bamz – “The Plug”
The corner boy from uptown with a solicitation for potential customers to buy his product, that soft white stuff. His aggressive screaming style here is startling. It's probably better for him not to sound so mean, but this is rap and he has to. He even put his number on the track but we checked and it's out of service. Gonna have to get your white girl elsewhere. Track after the jump.
New Music: Your Old Droog – “No Message” Feat. Rast RFC
The mystery heightens. Here's new music from emerging lyrical brightness Y.O.D. also known as The Guy People Can't Tell Is Nas Or Not. The song's art work also hints at the first appearance of the elusive Droog, who has people so convinced he is Nas that they make angry internet videos against anyone who believes otherwise. This interpolation of "The Message" gives a clearer view of him as a distinct artist, even with the God's Son flow hanging all over his body. Check it after the jump.
Video: DJ Mustard – “Down On Me” Feat. 2Chainz & Ty Dolla $ign
A video that convinces me Ty Dolla $ign eats the breakfast sampler in the strip club. On 2Chainz's running tab. We'll give you three guesses why this is Not Safe For Work. If you need two, go click after the jump.
New Music: A$AP Ferg – “Murda Something” (Remix) Feat. Waka Flocka Flame
Pretty sure the number of stabbings just increased with the release of this joint. A$AP Mob has so many low-key lyricists wrapped in their gangster packaging it's always thrilling when they partner with other hidden scribes like Waka. Check out the EDM remix of "Murda Something" and call your local precinct to make sure everyone's safe. After the jump.
