With the week coming to a start, the beef between Joe Budden and Method Man has come to an end. Joe and Meth came to a truce agreement Sunday following a run-in between the two at Jones Beach where both performed for the Rock the Bells festival.

Before a surprise performance of “Method Man,” John Blaze made his way to the back with his Wu brethren while Mr. Budden and his Slaughterhouse colleagues also headed to the backstage area to eat prior to their performance. This led to a standoff confrontation which ended when Joe invited Meth to have a talk. According to sources, Joe and Meth were seen walking off into the bushes to have a private conversation. In an interview for Shade45, Budden said, “Me and Meth walked out in the back by the poison ivy and had a nice conversation…we saw each other and spoke let men, that’s a done deal.”
Budden also said that he has always had respect for Method Man, but stated that if his name is mentioned again, he will end the truce.
The feud developed after Budden posted a video online in which he criticized Vibe Magazine for ranking Method Man higher than himself in their “Best Rapper Alive” tournament. This led to a series of responses from Meth during his promotion of Blackout 2 with Redman and culminated with fellow Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck releasing a diss track aimed at Budden entitled “House N**ga.” Since the release of the track, Budden has not responded towards Deck and Deck has stated that he wouldn’t have released the track had he known that Budden was on good terms with Wu member Raekwon. Joe said he has no problems with Deck and never had any intention of battling him.
