In the highest scoring game by any team this NBA season, the run-and-gun Phoenix Suns demolished the Minnesota Timberwolves last night by a score of 152-114. The game also marked a franchise record of points allowed by the lowly Timberwolves. The game found a remarkable eight members of the Suns in double digits, led the way by Jason Richardson‘s 27 points and Amare Stoudemire‘s 25 points. Steve Nash contributed 13 points and 14 assists, with 9 of his dimes coming in the first quarter. In fact, most of the starters for the Suns got their numbers and minutes out of the way in the first half, as Suns Head Coach Alvin Gentry had planned on sitting his big stars for the majority of the game against the bottom-end team from Minnesota. Instead of seeing the team slow down because of the slashed minutes of its big stars, the Suns pushed hard throughout the game, and found themselves on the right end of one of the most high scoring, lopsided victories the NBA has seen in a long time.

Current Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson unsuspectedly dropped a freestyle to Bobby Shmurda's chart-topping "Hot N***a" single back in August and now he has released the official music video to accompany it. In the video Stephenson rides around his Brooklyn neighborhood of Coney Island, plays basketball, and just goes ham in the streets. No word as to what the Hornets think of all this, but doesn't look as though Stephenson gives a care. Check out the video after the jump.
