iHipHop AdminIn a recent Spin Magazine interview with 50 Cent, writer Charles Aaron asked 50 Cent about rappers like Master P, Chamillionaire, and Ghostface who recently announced that they would no longer curse in their music. 50 dismissed them as rappers who can’t sell records anyway with G-Unit members chiming in on the conversation.
"The streets are different now," Yayo said during the interview. "Guys like Ghostface don’t matter. They don’t. They had a run, but it’s over."
Aaron went on to mention that even though “Supreme Clientele” wasn’t a platinum album, it was an excellent piece of hip-hop art. But Yayo had something to say about that.
"He didn’t even write that album, man," Yayo said
“What?” Aaron asked.
"He didn’t write it,” Yayo said. “That kid from Far Rockaway — Superb — he
wrote that record. You know Superb from Far Rock?
“No, and that’s a pretty serious charge,” Aaron responded.
50 Cent quickly jumped into the exchange and said that Ghostface did write the album, but it was still a failure. But 50 Cent did take a couple of swipes at Ghostface and his music as well as Chamillionaire. Check out the full interview HERE
