Banner gives the streets a wake up call claiming that “N*ggas wanna rap, play sports, and chop bricks.” While it may be ironic to hear those words come out of the mouth of a rapper, maybe using rap as an outlet is the only way people will listen. The track comes off of Banner’s Sex, Drugs & Video Games mixtape.
The South links up on David Banner's "My Uzi." Banner and Big K.R.I.T. team up to take on an old Banner cut ("Suicide Doors" featuring the legendary UGK) which is convenient given the Southern tinged themes and obviously the two rappers on the track. The chorus even samples Pimp C's "My uzi weight a ton" line from the OG track. Listen after the jump.
Kap G is joined by heavy hitters T.I. and David Banner for a remix of "La Policia." The track was unveiled earlier by FADER and both T.I. and David Banner chimed in to discuss the track. You can read their statements right here. And check out Kap G's "La Policia" remix after the jump.
Undoubtedly the part of the annual BET Hip Hop Awards that hip-hop heads prefer: the cyphers. And thankfully you didn't have to sit through the entire award show in order to watch every single cypher from the show as BET has graciously made the videos available to watch online. There was a total of six cyphers this year, ranging from Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang to Papoose to Kevin Gates and Loaded Lux to Snoop's Army with Murda Mook to Vic Mensa. We've conveniently posted each cypher for you to watch after the jump. Enjoy.
If Brad Pitt risked his life for some box, I know for a fact that Robin Givens got that good wet wet.
