On Monday March 2, 2015, New York’s very own Cannibal Ox celebrated the release of their highly-awaited sophomore album “Blade of the Ronin” with fans at the Studio at Webster Hall. Vast Aire and Vordul Mega were joined by GZA (of Wu-Tang Clan), Freeway, and G-Jet for this monumental performance. The event was hosted by Rob Markman, with music by DJ Two-Three. Freeway & the Jacka are the latest in a duo series the Philly gangster rapper has formed. His works with JakeOne and Girl Talk, respectively, were solid. Of course his State Property team were the best almost-legends that never were. "Cherry Pie" features Gibbs and singer Jynx trotting through broken ghettoes, singing a hustler song through smoke plumes. Check it after the jump. H/t Miss Info.
